I bet I built the model of this at least 4 times over the years. Didn't realize it actually existed with the strange looking blower and the SOHC

Pete Robinson and George collaborated in building those "pruned" magnesium case blowers along with the front drives. The few that I have seen and owned had Pete's name in raised letters.

One of Dick Harrells early cars.Excellent racer no longer with us.
I am sure if you search here or on google you will get many responses though the early shots are more rare.
Don't know if that was a Z16 or Dick plopped a 396 in a stripper.

 

Look like american standards....first style had a lip around windows. Later versions were smooth

 

Learn something new each day. I always had thought Lilltefield or some specialty blower company years later was the first to make custom non-DD blower housings. Tom S. in Tn.
