Sounds like a plan, I know where there is a Vauxhall for the windshield, but those Packard tips and tails... where could I get some of those?

I couldn´t really say - you´d have to compare where the wheels are in both photos. I have to say, wires and wide whites would look very classy, but it´s different strokes - depends on what sort of look you´re after.

I know the Packard Clipper lenses have been reproduced, not sure about the chrome bezels. Try Night Prowlers or King of Dice.

You might find that the Packard lenses which look good in profile are too wide for your fender tips. I'd look for 1955 & '56 Plymouth and 1956 Buick tail lenses which might fit your fender line better. And you can run two per side (one inverted) to give the "shark-fin" line.

Or lose the bezels and mould them in - they´ll probably look gigantic on that car and I think you may want to scale the parts down a bit.

Here is the Joe Bailon Candy Wagon with dual '56 Buick lenses to illustrate.
The Plymouth items will be narrower.

I definitely was thinking they'd be wide, but my thought was to narrow the trunk lid (if it looked okay narrowed) I have a 56 Plymouth at a friends farm with perfect fins and the thought has crossed my mind to use it's fins and tails, I also have access to a 60 Plymouth... LOL

If it affects your decision at all, a guy around me has that identical car in red and he put 5-spokes on it. I liked it better with the original wheel covers. I'm just saying...

Ok guys I would love to see the new project with a nice olive green paint on the bottom and steelies with spider caps & trim rings, white top and shiney chrome. Could you please help me show the wifey what the car should and will look like. PLEASE?? Also any nice shades of green will work, but because most of the interior has been redone green & white my color scheme has been dictated-plus the fact I love green hot rods!! Thanks in advance!!!

Sweet miniture sled, or bad ass tiny gasser... I'm so torn what to do now! :D

My dad is quite fond of gassers and my Taunus and has helped me so much with the build, I'll have to show him this picture, he's going to love it! :D

My thoughts exactly! With a warmed up 302, top loader and nine inch rear the grin factor would be thru the roof!

Could anyone do a photoshop paint job on my car. I want to keep the semigloss black but want it to look new. And a glossy red opel emblem on the door and hood. And a solid Glossy red back around the taillights and front bumber trim. This would be much appreciated. P.S. you can experiment with other paint schemes of semigloss black and gloss red. Thanks a bunch -hanz94
