I do have a 66 Chevy II hardtop that I purchased to put my 572 in. Plans have changed and the car is currently for sale. I have a 66 post that I will be putting a straight axle in after my 55 is together.

 

Bob Gibson found this one a number of years ago in Peoria Il. Board Bro.s Speed Shop car, Anybody remember it, or have photos?

 

New project. Ordering the axle now.

 

I used a Speedway 51" axle kit.

 

The kit that they recomended was a 58 1/2" disc to disc.

 

Axle width is 51 inches. That is what is in mine also.

454bigblock High performance, 2*predator on a tunnelram intake and so on... i think it will pruduce about 500+ horsepower
