Here's a couple from the local Debby's Diner....

 

In the 50's he would fly into bases without talking to the tower, if they didn't race out and stop the plane, every one would be in trouble, one time he came off the plane with his stoggy in mouth, a guard said it might start a fire the sarg said it wouldn't dare.

"The Twin Coach Company was started by Lou Fageol's father. It was not his company. The Indy car produced vy Twin Coach had two supercharged Offy's. It ran in the 1946 race. The 911 engined car belongs to some one else.. Twin Coach had been sold to Flixble and Lou died in January 1961 probably from injuries suffered in his famous hydroplane race boat crash/flip.

The twin engine car in the picture also had two more engines -chainsaw - one for each supercharger!

The Supersonic, now in restoration process in LA (2010). It began prior to WWll when it was a streamliner owned by Joel Thorne. It was modifed to be driven on track in Indianapolis by none other than Wilber Shaw. It was powered by a Fageol Twin Coach 6 cylinder bus engine. There were few if any aircraft parts used."
