Snowed here today! We got ice, it's cold and I'm sick of this shit and then.........I get a big shot of adrenaline looking at these terrific photos. Except for the beautiful noise, it's almost like being there! Thanks for posting.......

saved the best for the last.....Mike Boyd's burnout and run....













Mike Boyd backs up after the burnout faster than anyone I've ever seen. Most drivers back up rather slow and usually get some assistance from a crew member.
Mike goes backward at what I would say is over 40 MPH,...really. I have no idea how he does it. Him backing up as darned near as astounding as his run...





almost at half-track with the front wheels in the air......
That's a whole bunch of heat coming off of the motor...!!!!!

Thanks for those shots Doug. Didn't have a good week in the gym, so wasn't up to the ride over the grapevine. Your pics are almost as good as being there. You're right about Mike Boyd. Watching him back up is as much fun as his burnouts.

I have no idea and Wayne was so busy I didn't want to ask him....I'm sure it's a short and funny answer...

 

For those of us that were unable to travel to Bakersfield your photo's and watching Bangshift has helped ease the pain for missing a great event, thanks for sharing.
