Sorry to steal your borrowed photo Bucksnort :) , but this car defined run whatcha brung match racing, and set the stage for the emerging funny car circuits. This is where it all started and came from, and there was no tougher example unless it was his brothers Falcon. I wonder if there was ever a photo of them racing each other?

There was an enlightening discussion with regard to aero stunts of these cars on the 'Altered Wheelbase' forum recently, and this shot is worth a lot of words and bandwidth. Tom S.

HA HA Tom you look like the same punk kid I was in this pic of me from the 70's :D, spent every dime I had to be a dragster racer , have nothing but memories to show for it now:(, but it was fun, By the way when I worked on the Philly flyer funny car in the 90's we used to stay at Gary litton's place on our way to bristol , gary ran the Tennessee Shaker funny car, one heck of a nice family ,haven't seen any of those guys for years tho,do you happen to know him, I always loved racing down south:) as us northern boys say, Tim Jones

LOL..I recall this car. It was powered by an injected AMC motor. It ran in the tens if I recall. Very rare car. Trying to figure out the Willy's.

No..... I took that pic this morning !
I was going to say 'welcome to my world', but it looks like you're already there :)
I'm trying hard, so jog my memory........ Gary Litton was out of Knoxville region? I recall a blown alcohol car that was in the local match circuit with Perry Holt and Wayne Mahaffey, Frank Wilson, Harold Dutton and such, but I'm drawing blanks again. I hate it when this happens, but I can not recall anyone else at the moment. Tom

The late Fedreci was based out of Rhode Island. A precious metals and jewelry dealer, he was known for his crazy antics that were emulated by other more prominant racers like JJ. Federici did burnouts down the fire up road and burnouts in the opposite direction, etc. All his cars were 392 powered.
