Guys... I have really went & done it this time. I am sure that you all remember my "Shed Find 3 Window" from around 2 years ago. Here is her sister, an all original & somewhat complete B roadster. I had thought this car disappeared years ago, but I got a call a couple of weeks ago from the owner to see if I was interested in it! Yes, it's rough, but it's a gennie & probably the only one I'll be able to afford any time soon. The body is pitted but fairly sound except for usual patch panels needed...the doors are toast (a shame cause one is an early style). So today, Skwurl & myself dragged her home...
Keep it "B" powered that would be even more amazing haha. Some people have all the luck, nice find.-Weeks
Ok, enough of this ****... I get the next '32 barn find in Tennessee. Good job. This is what keeps us all on the hunt.
This car sat outside for years, and has been covered for the last 25 or so. I have been told by other locals that they watched the car being unloaded from a train in the late 50's/early60's. The new owner supposedly then put NOS doors on it & let it just sit, ******* all of the local rodders off. I heard about the car for years, but by the time I actually found out where it was, I was told by others that it was gone. In actuality, he built the shed around it to keep people from har***ing him. The car is pitted, but still pretty solid. The subrails are usable with a little work, will need usual lower patches & back panel. All of the interior bracing is intact & usable & the trunk gutters are in good shape. I will need to find a set of doors, although I may try to salvage the early one. I also got front fenders & a perfect 25 louver hood with it. Although I am more of a coupe guy, the Deuce nut in me couldn't p*** it up.
