bob's two-wheel GN post 1811 is by " ixlrlxi " more can be found on deviantart and if you have sketchup his tutorials are
youtube. like a steampunk digital Bruce McCall - great eye, finish and sense of humour, just no english so will need a russian to request a cyclecar to get back on topic ...

    Hi,

I think the car in the front is a customised french Renault 4cv.

I found a link to that car a while back, (unfortunately lost the link). It had a 16 cyl double row 2 stroke radial with lots of power but due to the far forward weight bias combined with the tires of the day had horrendous understeer characteristics and was never raced successfully. The Salmson looks like it had a better layout. I'd love to see more about that car.

When I find an image or multiple images of the same subject,I post the information I found AND the other picture.UYou know, they sya a picure is worth a thousand words. There are however, times when just a few words explaning the image makes all the difference.

I said all that to say this...I don't know anymore about the little car with aircraft image or more about the Salmson.I wished I did. There are times when I was not only looking at some of these cars but actually there with a box of wrenches tinkering on them.Finding out all of their little features and quirks!

    A-C-H-I-L-L-E,welcome to the HAMB!

That's what I was going to say.Look at the rear wheel arches. It started life as a cars with 4 wheels. This one has three.

My uncle used to buy the four door version of these pretty cheap. He would drive them until they were near death. Then we got them and drove them through the woods and fields after harvest.there wasn't much left after that.

    Hi,

This engine is a french make S.A.R.A. (Société des Automobiles à Refroidissement à Air).
This is a air-cooled engine with a aluminium turbine on the top, 1100cc.
