I used '32 lower cowl patches from Brookville so that the lower body line would have a gradual upward curve from back to front.

The door jamb on the passenger side was roached, so I had to fix it before installing the patch:

Had to make the left side mount for the steering box removable:

Wow, that's gotta be the tightest sexiest firewall I've ever seen.

The upper cowl bead looks cool as well as the 32 cowl patch panels. The sectioning of the firewall is genius though. Looks like it never happened.

That steering box brace is a piece of art. I like the consistent theme of "I-beam" styling throughout the build.

very nice as always. I really like it I was planning on doing the same to support the firewall on my coupe because I plan on running swing pedals and a flat stainless firewall. Keep up the great work.

It's a water-cooled 250amp Airco Heliwelder. Basically a Miller Dialarc in an orange wrapper.

It's probably more like 30 years old.

the older machines are probably more reliable. Only benifit of a new tig welder is just the amount of control you have on AC, you can run different wave shapes and so much more. which can make it a lot easier to weld really thin stuff.

Twice in one week I've managed to lose my pants while reading a build thread.

    Excellent work.

The floor is finished except for adding the proper fasteners.

I needed to make the transmission tunnel removable to facilitate transmission removal. My Coupe is set up this way, and it actually isn't too tough to get the transmission out.

The shift tower shape is directly influenced by the shape of the shift tower in a mid-50s Ferrari Superamerica. I like that word..."Superamerica."
