Agreed ... San Dimas is not to be missed. :)
The little cafe next to the Early Ford Store is very good. You can sit @ your table on the sidewalk and watch a LOT of the cool cars coming and going to visit the Early Ford Store.

These photos were taken in the Early Ford Store ( San Dimas )

I would have to say that a tour of the Nethercutt collection in Sylmar is also a "must see" in the L.A. area.

  13. Thanks, but kinda looking for a good location to stay.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the NHRA museum right next door to the show..

  16. I am surprised no one wants to tell me a good location to stay and maybe throw a good word in for there own town :/

Is it worth staying at the Sheraton Fairplex hotel, its right across the road, but do we need to stay so close, or is it a hassle to get in???

    Human Fly,

At the Sheraton in Pomona is a pretty good spot. The Sheraton and Shilo Inn are both nice places to stay. You may also consider Ontario, around the airport. There are a number of hotels in the area so the pricing is competitive. Ontario is a few miles from Pomona but it's close to the 10 and 15 freeways. The 15 is what you'll take to Corona and El Mirage. Hope that helps!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn last year in covina or may have been corona was good alot of guys stayed there.

  24. Thanks for the replies fella's.
The Sheraton Fairplex is sold out :( So I will have to find something else.
What about staying in huntington beach???? Too far?

  25. Look at hotels in San Dimas - much nicer than Pomona or Ontario and only a couple of minutes from the Fairplex.
    Comfort Suites on Bonita,
Holiday Inn Express on Arrow Hwy
Red Roof Inn on Arrow Hwy
    Extended Stay America on Bonita

these would be my choice if i didn't live so close.

  26. Huntington beach is about 50-60 minutes away minimum (depending on traffic, your results may vary)

  27. Thanks Don. Will check that out.

  28. Hey Tom ,

We stayed at the comfort suites in Sam Dimas and it was great for LARS pomona area events ,

    Cad

  29. Thanks Cad, I just so happened to look at that motel, looks great.........all booked out :(
