Best part of Friday is this thread.

Bo- that rules, and I don't even like VWs.

    57 Bob- I dig it.

    Pure Hell- That is awesome.

Jen- that's mindblowingly precise and good. I bet quite a few people would want business signs done by you.

Dankie D, Spoggie, etc... awesome, awesome stuff.

I get to play this week Not done yet but it started out as an old kerosene tank from an early cook stove. I bought it not knowing for sure what it fit just liked the shape. The more I looked at it the more there was a race car in there begging to get out.

So I got the Dremel our and whittled a bit. The piece I cut out for the cockpit was reversed for the tail Had the baby buggy wheels laying around. Have an old pair of weathered leather gloves to use for upolstery. Sight glass will get replaced with screen for the radiator.

    Great show so far.

    palat, love the '51 Vicky.

'36 Ford and a shoebox on a Moon disc. Always 100% by hand!
Get your car done in lines like this. Have an original hanging up, put it on a shirt, on a nice sign describing your car or on cards to send to your buddies.

The pintriping is already sensational but the way you blend in the cars... I'm speechless.

[IMG]That pinstriping is nuts! I love it..I can't use a brush or pencil worth a damn. I built this exact to scale Les Paul with all actual guitar hardware, and I built this fish from two old airplane wing tips. I was going for a WWII fighter theme.[IMG]

Gary....I love the "look"....but one of your modifications was to move the engine from the back to the front?.....did lightning strike you while you generated that image? :) just curious....still...can't help but like it...
