The 65 Mustang, the 65 Impala, the 66? dodge or the 65 Pontiac pretty much says the photo is later...

  6. Yeah, can we move or ditch the Dragon figure pictures. 'Vintage shots from days gone by'... not modern photos of someones dolly collection. Why a crap photo of a crap dolly of hitler attempting suicide is on here is beyond me. I don't find it funny or historically informative, its mildy interesting (in as much as it makes me wonder why the hell someone would want to photograph it, much less share it)... Unless Hitler WAS actually a 1/6 scale chinese made plastic action figure in a breeze block bunker in which case I apologise. This thread is just about the best thread on ANY forum I've been on. It is a real precious rescourse and valuable historical document in that most of these images haven't been seen anywhere else and probably won't beyond here. It should be cherished. I think we all know by now what this thread is about and what does and does not belong... and if you don't know... go back to page one and start reading... by the time you get back here you'll know!

Speaking of vintage, Id like to see some vintage 18 wheelers and old truck stops pics if anyone out there has some. (Ive seen a few on here, plus Ive only gotten to page 1350 in this thread).

I cruised 170k mi. around this country, which is infancy mileage for a hauler and I thought to myself, I have all these modern conveniences with cell phone, satellite internet, national trucks stops(Flying J was my preference), good eats ;), my thought was, the truckers of the 50s and beyond had what cb radios and each other if they got in a jam on the road?

So if you all have some trucker stuff, Id love to see it. Thanks.

I can recognize a lot of late twenties/early thirties cars, but this one has me stumped. Anyone know what it is?

  14. I hate to use up the bandwidth here, but we really should take this seriously.
Ryan has to keep the peace, and pay the bills, and our petty indulgences don't help.
There have been similar threads on the HAMB that had to be closed down because we couldn't play nice. Think about how fast you would get your money out at the bookstore if you ran across this in print. If it goes away there will be no one to blame but ourselves, and I personally feel it's the best morning coffee, whether 'net, TV, whathaveyou.
