Event Coverage Goodguys Texas Track Cruise Video

Light crowd this weekend, the threats of rain scared some people off. Here's a video of my favorite part.. the track cruise. Warning, it's a 6 minute video for those of you with ADD and a slow interweb conne**ion.

At about 2:45, I was the Tub T you p***ed! I'll post my video later.

 

Cool. We were too close to the pace car to really open it up!

 

I did the track cruise myself in my '50 sedan delivery. It was a blast.

 

I think I met you today. I saw your hat and didn't make the connection until just now. We talked 38 Chevys sometime during the am.

 

Yeah, we were too close up to the front, but I didn't want to sandbag it to the back. My wife didn't like the flat turns and the nearby wall, either.

 

Very cool. I did it a couple times. We sandbagged it and dropped way back and then hit it. Was a blast. Couldn't make it this year too many other things on my plate.

Wow! I've rarely seen the 'ol coupe from that angle! Thanks for sharing.

 

And I rarely see my T moving from outside of it. Funny we both made a video of the same cruise.

 

Kool Video, Thanks, but where are the spectators? I was in Charlotte N.C. this past Oct. when we did the track cruise there were a lot of people in the stands watching. Any way looks like agood time.

 

Might have. Saturday I was wearing a Old Air Products hat. I got set up as a dealer with them right after SEMA and went by their booth and talked John out of a new one.

Hope I didn't miss it somewhere, but how fast where you able to get up to?

 

I got up to about 95 once up in the high groove. I was right behind the pace car and dropped back a ways then nailed the Nailhead in my '50 sedan delivery.

Thanks guys,,Great videos. Reminds me of a ride around Charlotte a few years ago in my 46 Chev. pickup scaring the **** out of my wife.....

 

It don't always work that way Howeird......

Had my wife hanging out the p***enger window doing jousting at an event and I was hammer down burning rubber off the line. I thought for sure I was going to catch hell at the other end.
Instead, she gave me hell for not having her lined up better.

She wanted to run again and again slamming it to the max. I finally had to tell her we still needed to drive the car back home.

But I really would like to try the super speedway cruise with her. Just might be a different story at 95 mph on the wall.....lol

I love going around the track. I was in a different group of Cars. Lots of fun and I will do it again.

Way cool. That was me in my '50 SD that he p***ed at the 4:00 mark. I thought he was going to blow right past the pace car after he p***ed me.

That Hale's speed shop 36 is pretty impressive! You can really hear the turbo wind up!
