    Thanks, Y-Block! I didn't know (1) they were still calling themselves The Quarrymen, and (2) I guess I didn't think the Beatles (in any form) went to Hamburg quite that early.

    Heck, these guys were still playing TRAD Rock&Roll, BUT starting to formulate the sound that made TRAD R&R pretty much cut-out-bin stuff for about ten years!

    The bass player is Stu Sutcliffe, died in 1962.

    The Kaiser plant at Chalmette, La had two pot line powered by Nordburg Radial engines. They were in service until 1985 when the plant was shut down.
