my 65 fairlane a/fx straight axle build

    Yeah I'm gonna put the trim back on , just dosnt look rite without it in my opinion.

    I was watching My Classic car on TV and in the intro for a brief time is a red 65 without the trim. It looked pretty good. I think it's from the Oregon area

    how far are you from falkville al. cause im bringin you my 63! lol just kidding. i am watchin this one.ive only been a ford guy for say 2 yrs now ( was all chevy) and i have bought alot of ford engines and a few bodies.i do have my 63 fairlane but its way in the back behind other projects but you are changing my mind quick!

    Look up Klamath Falls car show. Oregon. there is a Fotki site that has the car. It says Hustlers car show or something like that. Click on it. the guy has a Sh*&^$% of car show stuff. Look up the Klamath show there

    Thanks guys, and outlaw my brother has a 63 also but its all orignal sbc George I was gonna use torqthrust orignals in the rear but I have decided to go with a satan black ten inch steel wheel in the rear with the torqthrust in the front

    As much as I like TT wheels, One look at Drokes car with the Cragars convinces me. He did run it for awhile with Grey spokes on the rear and steel wheels on the front but once Cragar sponsored him that all changed

    This is the look I kinda want it just screams the a/fx superstock look with the black steel wheel in the rear and my Torq thrust up front the car is go[​IMG]nna be red also .

    Wayne, They look like Fenton's or Radir wheels on the front. Ribbed in the middle. I don't think too many were using TT's in 65. Nice look however...Geoff

    Decided to go ahead and use my back seat ,cut the top for the roll bar next ill have them coverd in red with my a100 dodge van seats for the front

    Wayne;if you plan on racing the Fairlane you still will need a bulkhead behind the seat and the package tray needs to be solid too.The hood looks great! ROY.

    black or body-colored steelies would look killer with the tt's. I have chrome steelies and tt's on mine..
