I know we've all seen my P.O.S. before, but here it is again!!!!!

Lovin' the '55 Terd. Was hoping to have mine on the road this year, but it's looking grim.

Here is my 1953 Chevy-5- window build project working on it 4 months now--was a all SOLID original P-UP--got it to the driving stage around the
neighborhood-- handles and stops and steers great. Doing wiring and new gauges now, going to run it in the old patina paint look , but it is all NEW quality parts and safe.

Somewhat technically, this thing actually qualifies under the age rule. I think it's cool. Go ahead and shoot me now...

  10. Looking at the amount of space at the bottom to the left of the 3 I assume its a 2 and the curve at the top where it goes downward.

Here is a smallish update on mine.

I added a bumper I scored from a HAMBer to hide the later front clip and some chrome-reverse wheels I got from a local guy on the back. I'm still looking for some chrome-reverse wheels for the front, so I am just rolling 2-tone with painted wheels on front. I can't remember where I got that idea.

This is really really not the place for your VW.

  14. <= (thinks quietly to himself, "I wonder how many of those 15,805 posts of zman's are "corrective" in relation to other peoples posts? I know several have come in the past couple o' days.")

Here's a shot of my '40 1/2 ton stake truck with some traditional MT Rader's (sans spinner caps) and double pinstripe bias ply tires.

if people could stay on topic, and Terd has asked nicely a few times in this thread he created, then it wouldn't happen. Thanks for being concerned though, you can crawl back under your rock now. :D

  24. Saw this at Hot-Rod-A-Rama. Wacked way to hard IMHO, way out of proportion. Cool truck none the less.

I wish zman was a moderator. Seriously. I miss the old days where you'd get run out of town on a rail for posting a pic of your vehicle with drag stars.
