Had some Magnaflow 18" gl*** packs put in. One of the hangers on my straight pipes broke and took a big chunk of the the pipe with it, so I decided Id try something new. Not too sure if I like em. Its a little to mellow and quiet sounding for me. Im hoping they will break in soon....

Than right after I lost a header bolt and blew a header gasket, started leaking coolant and fuel, and my headlights took a dump. All in one weekend! :D

Finally got a new door! $20 for the door, and $40 for the tailgate. Both in pretty good shape! I think I scored on these!

I decided that I'm going to sell my '57 :( Its turning out to be too much of a project and I don't have the time or money for it.

Heres a short list of things I wanna do before summer.....

    In this order....

    C-Notch the frame
Strip down and por-15 the frame while the bed is off
New set of wheels made for the back so they will clear the fenders
    Bag the rear
Make some sort of skid plate so I dont destroy my bumper and exhaust
    New wiring harness
Throw a 4" dropped axle on the front end
Rebuild my steering box or just get a new one
Run my exhaust out the back w/the fishtails I got a while back
    Build my grill insert
    Put in a frenched antenna...maybe
Cut out and weld in new cab corners
Weld up all the holes and cracks on the body
Get a visor for the windshield

I probably forgot a couple things....I'll be stoked if I get all those things done.

Nice build man, I've always wanted a chevy pickup like that. I feel your pain too with having to go to college. I much rather be out welding or working on my truck rather than sitting in a damn desk haha

Yeah man totally. I got apprenticeships, ins***utionalized school, trade school, my own projects, and not to mention a GIRLFRIEND! That's where all my time disappears too......

Not all at one time though. I usually do college full-time on the weekdays, then go home to girlfriend and projects on the weekend. Once school is out for summer or winter that's when I do my apprenticeships, more projects, and trade school. You're probably way busier than I am and work way harder than I do. I wish I could make time and be motivated to get a decent job while at school haha.

Back to the truck though. I would recommend getting the frame blasted while you're already down there. Once I'm done with the fab on my frame I'm gonna blast it, then por-15 it.

edit- meant to say my frame

Haha yeah doing the same school stuff here too. Oops I meant to say when "I was done with the fab on MY frame". Just was saying what I recommended cause I'm doing something similar

Also I love the way you did the slash cut pipes, I might have to steal that idea from you if it's cool haha. I was thinking about doing turn down mufflers in the middle of the (edit MY) ch***is but slash cuts may be way cooler
