got my wheel done by pearlcraft !

    well lee sent me a pic last night upon completion , cant wait to get it home and see it in person , a little dissapointed it looks like the ribbed detailing on the spokes was lost which is one of my fav things about a 40 deluxe wheel and i had asked if it would be there yet or would have just left that area black ! oh well hopefully it will not look as smooth in person ! it was pricey but ya only live once right

    Be sure and post a photo of it installed with your interior. Was that an original 17 in wheel?

    no i had an original but its going in my roadster pickup and room was an issue so i went w a repo

    Very pretty. I see some '60s wheels in their gallery, but it seems like this is better suited to '40s and '50s interiors. Am I wrong?

    luckily i'm not married , it was really expensive but i always wanted it done , repaired a crack in the wheel and the finish it was 3/4 of a grand not including shipping !

    its looking like i may make it sans interior , finished the wiring tonight , hopefully fire the engine next week , then bleed the brakes and fab upholstery panels and seat base and back
