    Great stuff so far!

Perhaps noth the most HAMB friendly, but it's "Hot Wheels" week in the class that I teach here in Detroit, so I thought it appropriate to do something inspired by the old redline era for my class demo...plus I needed something to demonstrate chrome rendering, and what better than a honkin' 16 cyl injected hemi style monstrosity to do that on? :)

I was looking threw the FAS awhile back and came across this image of a monster head... i mess the orginal owner and asked him if he wouldn't mind if i beadrolled it. He said it was cool and so the other day i finaly got around to doing it. I just wanted to share and say thank you for letting me beadroll your work.

The second panel is a little gypsy girl...

Have a gander...This is the cover to the new book that I have just launched on the kickstarter website. It's a "how to" on Hot Rod Illustration. "Hot Rod Illustration #101, Drawing AUTOS~WITH~MOTIVE!" If you've ever wanted to step inside the noggin' of a Hot Rod Illustrator, here you have it. I launched my campaign 2 days ago to raise the funds for the printing costs, I've done everything else on my own time/dime. Cool thing about this kickstarter site is if you pledge towards the success of this product and it doesn't reach it's needed amount, you get your pledge back..
    here's the link, look around...thanks for your time~~! rod~ON!

That's great. Makes me wonder why we don't see more hot rods with that brown-and-black color combo.

Getting psyched for LSR - here is a shot of our fleet on the way home 2 years ago.

I am scrambling to complete my first hot rod and custom book which needs to be uploaded today, so I will be back (hopefully) for more specific comments later.

Great blog, your students do not know how lucky they are to have someone with your ability to break it down so they can understand it.

  28. Nice, I was already waiting for the new artwork.
Too bad I won't be able to make it this year.
