wow!my flathead on frame...i like it!

    hi h.a.m.b. friends,,after lot of time i have the model a frame ready for my sportcoupe project...i put the 255 french flathead on..i like it...not all finished but look just kool for me,,,2 holley 94 on rare weiand intake..porting job....potvin cam...french valves with reinforced springs...look..

    The red distributor cap's a little distracting. Can you get a black one?

    Er, that intake looks made to fit a Ford. How did you get it to fit a Simca? :)

    I like it! I am planing on running the same Ford 5 speed setup. What did u use for the adapter plate for the hogs head?

    i agree with you buddy....this red is different from the others in the motor,,this is a moke up.....i just place the distr in place,,,the all hop up is in the way,,i haven't search others cap's .....next time i move in this way...

    pre 48 and late intakes fit the french engines,,i only work with a grinder to match the intake bowls with the engine bowls

    Hi buddy,,,hogs head is from the french flatty,,i measure the distance with transmission and buy a plate of steel and go to machinist with my need dimensions,,clutch release bearing is french flatty ,and i resize the tube of input shaft to fit the bearing

    Black on black never occurred to me. I have the usual Ford red block in black ch***is. I had thought about different color but black never occurred to me. Thats a nice combination!.

    I can only imagine how hard it is to build any sort of early car in Italy, let a lone a traditional rod. The couple of times I've been in Italy I have seen nothing but mopeds and fiats! looking really good and I take it your building in a one car garage too.

    You should be pleased its coming along well
