I have two of those as well and I'd also like to know what they were originally used on. 16x4" with a 5 on 5" bolt pattern.
Wow now that's an artillery wheel I have never ever seen before. You stumped me there. It's looks like a dodge/Plymouth center.hmmmmm
I looked but did not find a match on here but maybe I missed it. They are 17" 5 on 5 1/2. Also looking for two more or matching in 15 or 16".
Hi, those are mid 30's Studebaker car wheels. Pretty rare wheels. I come across those every once in awhile. I'll contact you if I do.
Hello, I've been through this whole thread and there are a few similar wheels, but no matches. These are 17" BUDD wheels with the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. There is a raised lip where the hubcap should mount. And, there is a ring that is attached to the outer lip. It was originally chrome prior to sandblasting (the chrome was flaking off). I've got a decent pair of them, but finding their mates may be difficult without knowing what they are. Thanks in advance, Mitch
Could you tell me about these rims? These pictures are all of the same rims, I have four of them. They are a big 6 on 6+ inch pattern and they are 16 x 5 1/2 wide. I also want to either weld or bolt an insert to fill the center so I can redrill to a 5 x 4 3/4 pattern. The center hole is about 4.5 inches in diameter. These appear to be pretty heavy duty. I would like to know if anyone has welded the cast centers with success and I would like to widen the rim for the back of my car. Any thoughts here? Gary
How about this one. Has a 16" tire, but measures 17.5"x5" overall. 14 holes, 5 on 4.5" center. Has signs of pinstriping
Just wondering if anyone can help me identify what these wheels might be off of? They are 17's 5 on 4 1/2 not positive of the rim width but thinking 5 inches or so? Tyre size says 5.25/5.50-17 so thats why I think they could be 5 inches wide? Thanks for any help. Thanks in advance for any help fellas. Bash
Can u I'd these? They're 16x4ish 5x4.5 I include a pic of what I thing the logo by the E with a 4 in it looks like
I just purchased 3 of these (I'm getting one more match). They are 17", 4.5 pattern, 12-slot. They look the same as yours. Are they 1935-1936? I got 'em real cheap. Are tires harder to find? Seems like nobody wanted them.
What kind of wheel is this one??? It´s 16" wide. Maybe you can help me, because I´m looking for center caps.
Hi there, These 16" 5X5.5" wheels are a long drive away. Sooo...I am building a Rat Rod that will use 1954 F-100 front drums and 1948 F-1 rear drums. Both those drums are about 11 1/2" in diameter, which is about the same as the artillery wheels. QUESTION: What are these wheels from and do you think they'll fit on those drums? Thanks in advance for your help. TJ
mike, do u know anyone who has a buick artillery wheel for sale? I have one I belive is a 33,34,35? and trying to find another. I have a pic of it in my photos
Mike I have two international p.u. 16 inch artillery wheels with clips for hub caps look to be 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern can you tell me if any thing else ran the same wheel or who would have two. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
I am in search of 16” artillery wheels with the old ford 5 on 5.5in bolt pattern. From searching through old threads, it seems like the Budd and Buick wheels are most common. Take a look at the list below and add any wheel options with the 5 on 5.5" pattern. - Budd Mfg made for Ford 4.5” wide - Kelsey Hayes made for Ford 4.5” wide - 35-36 Buick 6” wide Since I’m looking for wheels, please PM me or email me at James.L.Banta at gmail dot com if you have any 5 on 5.5” artillerys.
How about these? 16inch looks like a little bigger than 5 on 4.5. I picked up a pair for the tires on them Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
