COMPLETE INSPIRATION. What do the Dan Posts books usually run, I have to pry one away from one of my buddies. He never heard of him until he bought a book. And he`s been a kustom guy for a LONG time.

After staying up a couple of late nights these beauties slipped through my hands on eBay...doh! A trio of really nice cars...do anyone recognize any of them? It would have been great to know some more about these old customs!

This may be a stupid question, but did, or does anyone make 16" wheel covers? I want to run them but I don't want to use 15" rims. Any info would be great and thanks in advance.

This good looking coupe....also running Lyon's hubcaps...was built by famed race car builder Chuck Manning in the late 1940s or early 1950s. This rare photo comes from his personal album, and it was provided by his son John Manning. A killer custom...that could also be seen racing! I have another great photo of the car in a 1951 hill climb without a hood I will share later on! If anyone have any more info on this car, or knows wether or not Chuck built any other customs, please fill us in. A bigger version of the photo can be found here: http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Chuck_Manning%27s_1939_Ford

This car was posted on face book a couple of days ago. And old cutom built in the early 1950's by Clarence Patterson based on a 1939 Ford Convertible.

The plan is to restore it back to how it looked in the early 1950's...

Very interesting early Custom that despite being built in the early 1950's still has this 1940's feel to it. More than likely it was started in the later part of the 1940's.

And this is how it looks now.

Interesting detail is the thru the rear fenders exhaust and the small opening for the set in license plate.
