By the looks of the auction pictures, another classic parked on the front fenders is an IMPROVEMENT.

Really interesting to see where these vehicles are ending up. I would not have expected COPART. I thought some big bucks guy just bought them all to restore, etc.....
If any one else spots one of these JEMS, feel free to up date up.

    Thanks,
    VE&C.

Look at the link in post #57 and look again at the black Caddy on the trailer. The original post is a year old and post #57 is a current auction. Looks like the same car to me.

That may be the one he didn't want but had to take to get the cars he wanted. It's still one of the most collectable post WWII Cadillacs and will probably bring more than the current bid.

I didn't reaize how badly it had been modified until I found this though.

That poor Caddy on post 57 at copart is missing its fins...why would someone do that to a car like that?

From what I've read, it seems that some people felt that the fins were so "over the top" they had them amputated to subdue the look of the car.

I would be surprised if the car on copart brought 15k due to overall condition and many of it's expensive items are broken/missing but who knows.

In all fairness, they probably aren't on that truck any longer – check the dates on this thread.
