I took some high quality pictures of my g***er today. Any sugestions on how to post them on my build thread? Thanks in advance! If it helps, they are about 4.5MB each. Ofcourse when I do the normal "upload", I get the "failed" message:mad:.

They're too big to post on the board, plus even if you could they would freeze up anyone with a slow internet connection. I suggest posting reduced size photos here, and then posting a link to the hi res photos on a host somewhere else. Pictures for posting on the board should be 800x600 pixels, or maybe 1024 x 768 at most.

Open the pictures with a photo editing program like Windows Photo Manager and then resize them down to say 1000x750.

Then you will be able to post them. If you don't want to resize the original, make a copy then resize it to post.

  4. You can change the setting in your camera to shoot a lower res picture. they will still look good posted. or post them to something like photo bucket and reduce them there.

Load them to Photobucket any size and then copy and paste the IMG tag here. They will stay on your build thread forever or until you delete them from the thread or you delete them from photobucket. If you upload them directly to the HAMB they do not stay forever.

You can load whatever size you want on Photobucket. High res will show up just like this and the cool thing about using photobucket is you can describe the photo inyour thread, then post the photo, then more words then another photo, etc. Perfect for a build thread.
