Event Coverage Ortega Canyon Cruise, Sunday April 22nd!

Alright so here it is! We are gonna do the cruise on Sunday, April 22nd. We will meet at Cooks Corner at 11am, and be on the road by 11:30am. The whole route is just over 34 miles each way. It will start at Cooks, and we will take Antonio Pkwy all the way to Ortega, and go all the way to the end where we will stop and get lunch at the Lookout Roadhouse.

Cooks Corner should be packed with the biker guys by 11 AM . parking might be a problem . Good luck on your cruise .

Perhaps you could meet up at the shopping plaza at the corner of Chapman and Jamboree in Orange . Then you could cruise thru Santigo Canyon to Cooks Corner and the rest of your cruise . Again , just a suggestion . Good luck .

 

I think we can park on the side of the road if theres no room.

 

Unless you are expecting a **** load of cars, parking will be OK. There is the big dirt lot on the Oak Canyon side of Cook's that the "Biker's" don't use anyway. Sounds Like fun, Hope I can make it.

 

It looks as though there's a few of us heading up from the southern part of Southern California. I'm now wondering if we should head up from San Juan Capistrano, and just meet you up top, or...?

 

Maybe we can meet at the start of Ortega Canyon.

Hey Taylor! Not trying to tell you how to operate here, but did you contact the Lookout Roadhouse to anticipate a few extra customers on that day? Sometimes these places really appreciate a little "heads up" ...

 

IM in I live by Toms Farms off the 15 so not far from the elsinore side. So if anyone wants to meet on this side to cruise let me know!

 

That's what we have to do as well. If we can make it that sounds good.

I was gonna do that like a week before.

 

have a couple of cars at Cook's Corner early to stake out a piece of property for parking. let the food joint know ahead of time, especially if you have an approximate head count for eating. have not been in that part of the world for many years. know it will be a fun day. take pics.

 

I live right by Cooks, so I can go early. I'll make sure theres some good pics!
