Dave from Australia has done more work on his 1/16 Dragmaster, he's getting closer to finishing it and it's looking great! If you've seen the first pictures of his build, just scroll down a little ways to get to the new ones. He makes it look so easy! I ordered some tires from him, going to give a shot at building a 1/16 Surfers, finally found a nice, but very simplified drawing of the frame from a 60s magazine. http://www.p40warhawk.com/My_Stuff/Dragmaster_IV/Dragmaster_IV.htm
Clean builds there, friend. I got this 1/25 '61 Starliner to this stage. AMT kits of course ( mish mash kit bash). You get the drift.. Btw, I'd love a message from anyone with suitable junior stock- style skinny old Revell or AMT chrome 1/25 front wheel & ply tyres like these (for this Ford). I may have some parts you want for trade. Excellent 1/16 dragster! The 'Surfers' done like this, would be a treat..
Scratch built 1/8 scale sprinter is almost done.http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/Ken_Meaders/101_2008.jpg http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/Ken_Meaders/101_2013.jpg http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/Ken_Meaders/101_2006.jpg
I just love the big stuff. Did you build a particular car or have a certain paint scheme in mind? Gary
Here is my 13 year old son's 1966 ElCamino that he just finished and entered in the box stock under 15 class for Gearz. The first 5 pics are what we submitted, and the others were take outs. I think the kid my have a chance??
