    WOW!

So many great classic working vehicles.

Guess I will add in my 1948 Dodge pilot house panel truck

as it looked when pulled from the barn

and now it is waiting for the '96 Dakota Sport to get out from the wrapper it is coated in (rusty periwinkle metal thing some call a pick up truck body)
And this panel will drop on the Dakota chassis and driveline

I posted the above pic on the first page of this thread. Guess its time for an update 3 years later. Looks like the only thing unchanged are the wheels and tires.

The photo above was taken on my birthday in 2011 and my wish to drive my wagon by spring 2012 has come true.

You guys have done a nice job on the wagon. Good to hear its back on the road and still in the family.

Here's another project (hopefully next) that followed me home. Had to put a 9" out of a 57 wagon and the old wheels off my Custom to get it to roll, it is very straight and remarkably low rust.
Plans are to put in a 390-4V/C6 I've got laying around, plus Fairlane side trim, maybe a 59 front bumper on the rear, and some decent wheels/tires just to dress it up a bit.
Ought to be perfect to tow around a HAMB friendly trailer . . .
