  1. I'd leave that thing as-is. Just toss a nasty mill in there and GO!

Anyone remember Harry Luzader's '32 5w gasser? Small block Chevy,Hilborn injection, 4 speed. I saw that car run at the Nationals in about 1962-3. It would pull the front tires in the first three gears was about the most immaculately prepared race car I had seen at the time. I read somewhere he was getting it out of storage and returning it to the street.

Truth. IT needs a Hemi, Olds or a 301 Chevy in that thing.

Yeah homie, I'd put a $200 SBC, $50 Powerglide back in with some $10 OPEN headers & start enjoying today!!!

Oh yeah, throw a couple numbers on the sides.

I'd leave it a gasser, too, but I'm a sucker for those damn things. :)

You may want to post up in this thread to see if any of those folks may recognize it? Worth a shot, right?

  15. Hey fellas this car has been floating around in my head for about 3 weeks now. Did we ever come up with any history on it?

No Crap. I hope it stays a gasser. If he really wants a car to build a hiboy out of, Id probably swap my chopped 34 3 window project for it ;D

Sweet find, stuff a motor in it and have some fun.

  20. Lot's of '33 highboys out there. I've never seen another '33 gasser!

Here's a pic of a '29 like my sedan, built as a gasser. (Doesn't really work for me though.)

    Very cool.

Has anything changed with the car in the last year? or was it pushed back into the corner?

Yes it is being built. It's not going to be a gasser but a very nice hotrod. Cadillac motor, quickchange... it will be really nice.
