Oh I want a 4 banger parts chased too lol...I might be gettin a freebie 47 ford truck, and thats where the seed germinated

I would probably use a 41-48 Ford backwindow, same as the Aussi Ute's used

I agree, it was just a quickie rework by Eli...I kinda wanted to start it to sell as a rolling project...but if it looks cool I will just want to keep it lol!

Hmmm, not a bad idea. I'll see what I can come up with. I'll look into the Ute window too. I kinda get the feeling though that if Steve builds this he'll be hanging onto it. Hell I damn sure would! :D

Its on the injecter pump body, some info I found says you have to take the top off the pump, but I have found some other stuff sayin you dont have to ...I just have to get it out so I can pull out the guts from it,then reinstall it and will use a pull cable to shut the truck down.... at least thats the plan lol!

Okay here's the Nomad style tailgate. Added in a little of the taillight form on the inside to make it more complete.

I Like alot! Kinda gives the tailgate area a frenched(?) look, the tailight form on the inside with the quarters a bit longer looks great on these cars.... if you want to rework it some more I still have some other ideas :D :D

Well you asked for it :D More chop..( I like em low !) smaller back window, might be hard to do but 41-48 Ford is preferred cause I have one, filled wheel well on the back with a nice long cruiser skirt...hows that for now ...I feel bad for makin you do all this work Eli!

Don't feel bad at all Steve. I do this because its fun and relaxing (my day job is working on Navy submarines) so I look forward to stuff like this. Gimme a few days as I'm working 7 days a week but I'll work something up. Remember, I got the easy part, all I gotta do is photoshop it, you have the hard part 'cause you gotta build it! :D Btw, what about wheels and tires?

Thanks! I'm not sure if the rear window would fit without a bit of work but I think your idea looks alot better than the stock rear window. The cruiser skirts seem to give the illusion of a longer truck too.

    Bring it on! :D

Not to mention I could barely afford to import a 1/25 scale car from Oz let alone a real one!

I just like to think of it as less sandblasting to do because of all the new metal:D

That's what I was thinking... import costs would be more than the budget for a car for me.
How's the back Steve? Got a full weekend of building planned?

I got 4 days in last weekend ,my ol Cummins p/u is due for inspection...I knew the front cab mounts were kinda soft   but what a mess, so I have been workin on that the last couple of weekends, although I could think of lots of other stuff I would rather do! Just waitin for a few friends to show up, they are takin me to a small long closed junkyard in Bridgewater ....not that I got any money to spend but its always fun to look and dream right! Same ol same ol with the back....

Good luck on the truck. Cab mounts. No hoist. Bad back. Ick
OOoooo keep your eyes peeled at that junk yard and be prepared to recite a full inventory!
I'll have 2 "A" rear fenders and the back section of the cab and 2 doors of 30-31 A truck and I'd have enough to build one. I guess that's like saying hens teeth around here.
Of course then I'd have to finish the T. I started on the ladder bars this week.
    Have fun.

Luckily there was enough rot in the floorpans that I could do most all of the drivers side from above :p
