You'll meet a lot of traditional hot rod people. Don't forget about the Meltdown Drags in July, too. That's in Byron, IL which is only about an hour or so from Milwaukee, I think. There will be a lot of use traditional rodders there, too.

I'm not good a planning things......
but the Quaker Steak and Lub just off the freeway and Moreland RD has a so so show every week on Thur nights. Lots of muscle cars...(better not say that or i'll piss off people on a hot rod site) but there are usually a few cool cars. That's about 5 minutes from me, hang there then open garage here?

Man I wish I would have checked this at work, I would have made it down. I will keep that in mind for next week. Ya the area HAMBers should get together.

Anyone know if they have started the cruise in on Thursdays at Wayne's Drive In? I was thinking of going up there this week. I looked on the web page and didn't see anything about it. Anyone else going this week?

 

I was up there last week, kind of a thin crowd but it's early and was on the cool side.

 

Off all next week and will be out in the garage all day for once. Full fridge of cold beer so....... stop on by.

 

Trying to make it to Waynes tonight if I can get the plymouth to run.

 

Well, I busted my A#% all week to get the car together to get it out tonight. About 3 pm I was able to fire it up and take it around town. Stopped here, stopped there, got gas - ran great.

Took it home, gave it a bath, said goodbye to the girls. Got in the car. No reverse - no drive. Broke the shifter cable.

Better to break in my driveway, I guess. Next week. Maybe.
