I trade for other projects, not because I have a bad one, just because I save a lot of cars from the crusher that are perfectly fine but nobody wants it.

That's why you always look at a vehicle before passing judgement.

Not a miss used description, but a bad, one, I saw a 37 Chev online listed as a 36, I mentioned to the seller it's not a 36... and he replied that he checked and it's actually a 38...

Nothing to do with hot rods , but it drives me nuts when in a phone number people say the letter "O" in place of the number zero. On the other hand people use the word "zero" too much when they should be using the word "no". For example , "zero brains " vs "no brains". This post is beginning to seem stupid as I write it, but I'm going with it.

When they first came out cars without door post or B pillers the factory refered to them as a hard top convertible so cars without b pillers became hardtops cars with b pillers are sedans.

8. Could you mean elusive? Ron
Elusive is hard to find or catch, hiding.
Illusive is being based on illusion.

Notice the refference made by another as "needing a time machine" and "being impossible" both of those are illusory in nature or based on an illusion.

I see - present
I need to see - future
Wish I didn't see - implies past but future wish
I didn't see - past
I have seen- past
I have just seen - past but recent
Needs to be seen - future

Is it hard to find and catch, yep but its illusive.
I see that on cars and parts that are normally well beyond logical use, like a door that has the bottom 2 feet rotted off...

Run when pulled, we only pulled it out of spite! ;)

1955 DeSoto, NICE lo-miles! (HEMI & grille gone, 'cause I sold them on ePay).

Still make you a nice rat rod, custom or erosion-control project! Buy NOW! Won't last long at this price!

Not car related, but was at Kings Island several yrs ago. I overheard a guy telling his son " quit being an oxymoron" I wanted to slam my head into a wall for hearing that.

I hate when the seller says "Motivated seller ready to sell".....well I'd hope you're motivated if you're going to sell something.

As mentioned before - these days the word "hardtop" seems to mean any vehicle with a metal roof. And anyone with a Custom 300 ford advertises it as a Fairlane.

" ............ And "well the thing ran when we pulled it out"........."..

So I parted out this 55 Desoto - before I did that I started it up, the hemi ran fine, then I pulled it.
Now I'm saving the engine for another project, but if I do ever decide to sell it, what do I say if I'm asked about it's condition?
Maybe "shit you wouldn't believe me if I told you so I ain't gonna tell you."

Rare when a vehicle isn't rare I understand, but Rare is not always a joke, if a vehicle is only one of a few it's usually considered rare.

My balls are nearly half way up my body, hope that's not too low! ;)

30. Probably here somewhere already, but I really hate
