Your trailer park is cool, less the fox body tang.

Let me guess; you ask people if their car is for sale when it has no sign.

Not much HAMB-friendly material in your neighborhood, I see.

Between my last house and this one, I've been approached over 100 times in a few years about selling a car or truck that didn't have a for sale sign on it. Every time was someone who didn't even want to offer diddly squat, they wanted me to spit out a price, then they wanted to mumble, then they wanted to go home to Maria.

    -nice, but tired.

This is why I have no trespassing signs posted all around my property. I had my 55 Chevy Gasser out from behind my privacy fence one day, I was talking to my friend, a guy pulls up in my yard opens the door on my 55 and sits in it, I walk out of my backyard and ask him what the hell he is doing. He says I want to buy this car. I say it's not for sale and I ask him if he can read, he looks at me perplexed and I point at one of my trespassing signs that has a picture of gun pointing at you, it says " Forget the dog! Beware of the owner!" He is real lucky I was in disbelief that he was in my car. Needless to say when he saw the sign he realized he needed to apologize and leave very quickly.
My advice is: talk to the owner before going anywhere around their vehicle, especially if there isn't a for sale sign on it. That shows respect for their property. If there is no trespassing signs posted: Keep Moving. They are there for a reason.

The guy took the picutes from inside his car on what seem to be public roads and parking lots. I don't think the OP needs to be shot for trespassing just now...
I don't see every license plate blanked out when people post thereads about car shows, license plates, etc. Too much paranoia.

Ever see youtube or google vieos shot on the public roads?
Yah he's paranoid, maybe he removes his plate whenever he parks his car.

When I'm at a car show, or parked in a parking lot, I'm fine with having my car photographed, and maybe being asked if it is for sale.
When I have a car sitting in my driveway, I don't expect to have someone driving by, sneaking pictures of it without stopping. If they do, I'm going to get VERY suspicious, and probably write down their plate number. I sure as hell wouldn't appreciate a total stranger walking up to my house and asking to buy a car he SHOULD know nothing about, since it is sitting on private property. If he's going to ask about buying it, I'm going to assume he's going to offer scrap price, or he's really not interested, and just using it as an excuse to go snooping around my property. I know I wouldn't just buy a car, because I liked how it looked from the street, and have yet to look it over well. I may be paranoid, but I call it being protective of my property.

people here are weird sometimes. if the first couple posts were something about the vette or the shoebox Ford that is how this thread would have gone.

instead people want to shit on this guy for no good reason.

what the fuck do people think can be done with a license plate number from a photo on the web? idiots.

we have threads about "hoarders" who won't sell when asked and now on this thread it is somehow bad to ask someone if they want to sell a car.

we need another jesse James thread to keep all you guys busy.

I guess you are talking about a nice looking, registered car in your driveway but how many threads on here show an old car sitting beside the barn that someone here has photographed and posted "I am going to stop and ask about it next week."

Oh wait, I guess that's ok for a rusty, unregistered '32 but not for a nice Subaru WRX.... please tell me the cut-off year so I don't go making people all suspicious or is the cut-off between registered / unregistered?

I think there's a pretty obvious difference between something that looks like it's parked for the night/short term, and something that's been sitting for years. The cars that are shown in the OP pics look like they were parked there the night before.
TO ME, if it looks like a current driver/project, I wouldn't waste the guys time asking if it's for sale. Something that has been sitting for years would be fair game. The reality is, if it's sitting there without a for sale sign on it, 9/10 times it's not for sale anyway.

As far as the picture taking thing, call me paranoid, but I don't care for people I don't know taking pictures of my stuff, or my family. I guess I watch to many spy/cop shows or something, because if strangers are taking pictures of someones stuff, bad thing usually happen! ;)
