It's sad , I pass by a dozen sitting in the woods every day. The guy won't sell them. I should take photos if I don't get shot with rock salt.

That '57 Ford sitting next to the black Jag on the rollback looks like a retractable. Is it in good condition, do you know? Just curious.

Look at the 7th picture from the top; you can see the roof of the Ford sitting next to the Jag. It looks like the roof is two piece, or is it just my old eyes seeing what they want to see?

Looks like a four-door (aka "Town" in Ford-lish) Sedan to me. You can see the window frames in both shots. I think if it were a Skyliner retractable you'd be able to see a little separate overhang over the windshield header in the head-on view.

Also it's not a hard top and in photo 3 if you looks close you can see a narrow rear pillar, the retractables have a really thick Thunderbird styled one.

But don't feel bad, it's almost completely blocked from view by the other cars.

    The front of that car.

He buys and rescues rotten relics from all around, fixes some and sells them. All are for sale, call him if you see something you need.

    Tell him Russ sent you.

They're in a state of disrepair.

2 (shown) of 5 '59s Caddy CDVs were included as part of a recent multi-car acquisition. I'll entertain PM/emails from genuinely interested parties with the understanding that IF any are resold they will not be less than current market rate. They are not being advertised for sale anywhere. This is a sitting & rotting thread.

 i figured with the dirt burms built up all around them, i dont blame him. you can see vandals already wrecked a bunch of windsheilds and glass. it sure was exciting climbing up the dirt wall the first time and seeing all those though:)

Lol, I just came across three NASCAR Certified Busch Series tube chassis, slight tweaking here and there from hitting walls and whatnot, but otherwise BEAUTIFUL. Bet THOSE are worth saving!

Well I went to Bean Station Tennessee to Miller's Auto Parts today to look for parts for a 61 chevy wagon. he had one but the tailgate was rougher than what I had. I don't know them or work for them but i took a few cell phone pics while I was there. They have 35 to 40 acres of 50s and 60s cars and the stuff is for sale.
