Alot of people are running thier top links this way, and are having no issues. How is it possible to have any wrap when the there is no forward movement? That would mean the lowers would have to move rearward to do what you suggest. In order to wrap the housing would have to rotate witch cant happen due the bars.

    Like I said I hope I'm wrong.
The closer any link is to the center line of the axle the less advantage it has.

I appreciate the concern, but if you look at the way Alex Gambino does his (I bought all the 4 link stuff from him), the way I did it is very similar. I am fixing a few things on the 4 link that I am not happy with and the top bars are one of those things, but I will still be running them like Mr. Gambino....Thanks for the concern

Here is a pic and a link to a build Alex did, very informative

Any guess's on how heavy the body is without the frame? I'm getting ready to seperate mine to finish welding my notch & i'm building a movable dolly to put the body on (just want to make sure i don't under estimate the weight lol)

Love this build, keep the pics coming!

i still got that rear end i bought off you. hope to throw it under my '51 since i just swapped out the 235's due to the previous one smoking like a chimney when i accelerated.

Man, I hope it all works for you.

Crazy legs I really have no idea how much it weighs, just make sure what ever you build is high enough to clear the notch when it goes back under the car. Good luck

God the rust inside was ridiculous. I vacuumed everything out and below the driver side rear glass is bad. The tube that went from the window channel to the outside had came loose and was dripping water inside the car. I did not snap a pic of it but I will when I go to repair it. There are some areas with the floor pans but not that bad.

I went ahead and put the trunk back on and sat the front clip back on, just to see what everything looked like. The rear is completely aired out and is exactly where I want it, the front once its time will be adjusted to have the car sit level. I did not want the rockers to lay frame.
