My '47 Ford Fordor was gifted to me by my lifelong bud Marc.
    I've had '46-'48s before, ('46 Tudor, '46 Coupe, '47 convert, '48 Merc convert)

This is the only Fordor I've ever had, the rear doors are Suicide-style (factory) and the back seat is as spacious as a limosine. All the trim is there, so it would be a crime to shave it all off...I want to do a nice taildragger like in the '49-'52 era.
(like a hot rodder would do back then to the family car: Low, black, flare skirts, Appletons, wwws, Cad Sombreros or bar-Moons, white tuck & roll, maroon piping)

Front crossmember surgery was performed by Marc, (just have to finish it) Great trick: it guarantees an additional 3" of drop, without the 'U' bolts getting into the scrub line!

At first I thought this car was huge, but when dropped....different perspective. (Duh!)
Wife Joey and I have grandchildren, too...

    You CAN love more doors.

Go for it. I really dig the late 50s/early 60s chopped flat tops which were mostly 4 doors to start.

Hey Munster, there is a guy on here that has a 51 chevy 4 door chop that is the best I've seen. I have a 51 poncho 4 door I'm going to chop and I've been searching this thing for a few years. His name on here is droplord49 and the pics are in his "the 51" album. I think you will dig it
