Event Coverage Golden Super Cruise - May 5th, Golden, CO

Looking for some fun in the sun and a great, FREE event? Join the Colorado HAMB'rs for the Golden Super Cruise the first Saturday of each month. The next event will be on Saturday, May 5th, South Golden Road, Golden, CO.

The HAMB group will be gathering in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot north of the roundabout interesction of S. Golden Road, W. 16th Ave. and Johnson Road. Event officially runs from 5pm to 9pm, but many folks start gathering earlier.

Yup, you are correct, but can't you tone it down a bit...??? You know very well that I don't like '32 Fords or '33 Fords but you never read me bashing yours or anyone else's on here...

You certainly may if you like...wouldn't bother me a bit. It's your prerogative, remember...???

You must not get out much (oh, wait, that's correct, you said you were staying home...!!!) and the wheels were five spoke chromed Ford Probe 16 inch factory wheels...do you need them for your '32...??? Otherwise WHY would you ask...??? That'll really mess up the "trad" look you're going for with the '32...!!! Guess it's been a while since you got out, eh...???

One of the best events in the Denver area in my opinion, it is a real cruise not a parking lot show.

I agree with Aussie Steve it does seem to attract alot of RAT RODS for some reason.

 

I might come down to spectate or take a lap in my O/T F100. Depends on what my study schedule looks like, that is finals weekend at Mines.

 

I hope aussie steve does stay home,sounds like a real jag.Its always a great time and see ya in the 53 ford.

 

What I love about the event is the variety of machines, all with the same common denominator - A huge smile on the faces of all involved. No pretense, no turf issues, no regard for labels, just a great night out wasting liquified dinosaur poo by the gallon!

You call this a RAT ROD? Though there is no argument on the best event in the Denver area.

 

Let stop all the drama! This should be a "get together" or a meet and greet to have some fun. We had a great time this past Febuary at Rockabillies, this sould be about meeting folks and having a good time.

 

I am going to try to make it to this one. It looks like there will be an open spot right next to Paul for me to park. I hope this thread stays open?

Lonely Knights usually make it up there with 8-10 cars. It's a fun place to hang out and look at the best car show in Colorado that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to just walk in the gate, let alone drive you car into...

 

Dave. I am gonna shoot for it. I saw you cruize into the sonic last friday at least I thought it was your coupe, but didn't get a chance to say hi. I hope all is well.

 

No this is not a RATROD, just my '55 at Golden last July 4th, It is my favorite event of all in Colorado.

 

I like the Golden Cruise friendly & fun. Just go somebody's going to like whatever you drive, I even got a thumbs up once. MW

 

I'll be there for the first time! Won't be in the roadster though! I look forward to meeting some other hambers. I'll have on a Hot Rod Garage (Sand Springs, OK) jacket. Say hi if you see me.
