I came across these behind some boxes in my parents garage. This is circa 3rd grade. Pretty perverted stuff. My how far I have come... Let's see if anybody had it more backwards than I did...
good eye. Its also got silverado corner markers, and those are '96 s10 tail lights so they're period correct. Right?
I don't think I was drawing cars in the third grade yet. In the 7th grade on Bainbridge Island one of my buddies would have me draw the outline of a car and he would do some drawing on it and p*** it to someone else who drew on it some more until it made it through about six of us before the teacher intercepted it. I don't think my drawing. I'm not sure my doodles now are up to your third grade efforts.
My bad. I remember I had Mrs. Yerina as a teacher when I was drawing these. That's 4th grade. Slight embellishment.
Probably the closest thing to an on topic car I still have is this... I was 14 at the time. This one was published in "Truckin" magazine... Lots more goofy ones here... http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb317/Smokeybear31/Drawings/
I don't think I could spell Volkswagen when I was in the 3rd grade, and the art is really promising too. In fact, you're kind of ******* me off.... ;v)>
I'm digging the lightning... Lets try and keep this thread going. I really wanna see some goofy stuff...
I have the old cover from my spelling book from grade 3 or 4. there is a red full body dragster on the cover.I have no idea where that image came from, there are no car people in my family, or even in the neighborhood. I had Hot Wheels by then, but no dragsters. EDIT: oh. I drew the dragster, I don't know how it got in my head to draw a dragster. I must have see one going down the road to the drags.
did these when I was 13. I think I copied the 57 from another cartoon and drew the others to match. I think it was from a Bell cartoon in the back of Street Rodder.
I would never ever poke fun at a third grader, this is outstanding work a child. I've never seen a child sign his doodles like this. I think who's ever signature this is might be kinda pissed someone thinks this is the work of a third grader.
None of my grade school stuff survives, but I remember dang near everything had a bubble top. My dad and uncle introduced me to car shows about 1965 or so, so you can see from where a lot of that influence came. I think my kid has a few of my high school car drawings stashed somewhere. I was going to throw them out and he rescued them for some reason.
Ok here is my submission i was 13 lol 1984 i was a big fan of cartoon's ha i spelled Plymouth wrong this one below was done in 02 i got a lil better lol
