Awesome! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for that! i tossed around the idea of swapping the straight six out for something more powerful but at the same time i kinda like the six.

Awesome car, I'm building a 54 coupe right now and you have a waaaaayyyyy better start than me.
Like said above keep those hinges lubed I got lucky and found a 54 lincolin at a u pull it and got a hinge for $12. Be gentle with them and don't force them at all, I learned that the hard way.

probably either chrome smoothies or black smoothies with beauty rings and some wide whitewalls. i like the look of baby moon caps and the bullet caps.

it might be cool to do a different color than black but i dont want red and i dont want to commit to a wheel color without knowing what i want to do for paint.

I totally have that picture saved on my computer haha. I really dig that one. Makes me want to keep the yellow parking lights.

    That's gonna look good Steve.

If you're going with wide whites, use a 6.70-15. I run Firestones from Coker on my car on a pretty much daily basis Join the alliance first. First off, ya support the board, and what you'll save on a set of tires from Coker will more than pay for an alliance membership.

now that the tint is gone just drive the hell out of it like it is, that 223 will purr forever but having a 5-spd would be nice for long trips to help on gas. great car!

If you ever decide to ditch the 223, dibs on the intake (including carbs) and exhaust set up!

Wow ! It's amazing how much one thing like the tint being removed has changed the whole car it looks ten times better ,can't wait to see what wheels and tyres will do and for the future that gold colour for the body looks rad but maybe just a white roof
