Great stuff Mark...keep plugging away man. You'll get there eventually. The journey is the best part right ??? Or is that when it's done and you're driving it ??? I dunno.

i know they're dreadful. and the awful thing is that they are taken with a really nice camera. i blame it on the white walls, fluorescent lights, and the auto setting.

i'll push it outside for some better pics once i am done with the other side.

i got all that in, and i just need to...what did andy kohler say?...grind til bitchin'.

so yeah. crappy photos from the artist. but think about it. i make art with a press made in 1895. my photos are on par with 1895 quality.

I'm not sure. You're right though, you shouldn't have to worry about the quality of pics on my account. Just keep up with the work and I'll have my 2 year old draw what you describe as it'll probably give the same effect. Haha!! Just kidding dude.

Can I make up for it by saying I like the firewall and how it's recessed?

thanks. i like it too. but sometimes you wonder if you like it simply because you're close to it. so, someone looking in from the outside liking it is a good thing.

as for photo quality, the truth is that i get in such a groove it's a miracle i remember to take pics at all.

oh, the humanity. today i blew it up into a million little pieces. makes me wonder if it will ever find its way back together. and to make JJ even happier about the coverage, the camera battery died. so i have no photographic evidence of the carnage.

    body off:

and, it steers now. 53-56 f100 box, 57-60 pitman arm, and shim from tardel (i assume) via mel.

the pitman arm is within a hair of the frame at the back, i might trim that corner to give a little more room for flex.

and here is the next puzzle. how to locate rear radius rods and torque arm.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that firewall was original to the car!
