Here is my 38 IHC project. Not exactly HAMB correct but it is a fenderless hot rod.

 

Hamb correct or not I dig it.

Bad build and I can picture the engine sitting in there, SWEET

 

It is a tube framed, drag, street, project I'm building to satisfy a bet I made with a friend who drag races a super pro, super gas 63 corvette. He runs around 5.30 in the 1/8th and I bet a case of beer I could build a street legal hot rod that would run that fast.
434cu in BBC, ported Dart 345 heads,BDS built 6-71 on a BDS intake, solid roller,Home brewed EFI, transbrake T400, 9 inch 35 spline aluminum center.
It's a lot farther along than this now but these are the newest pics I have. Oh I'm gonna loose the race seats in favor of a bench seat so my 80 year old dad can get in and out of it easier

 

What part of swampeast mo are you from?

 

Do you have any detail pics of how you did the front spring mount area?

Heres some update pictures of mine.... still building. But we'll have a big push soon.

 

I am gathering parts now for one. Picked up a 47 Mack cab&grille that looks similar to a 34 Ford cab . Amazingly straight and complete. Factory tach ect,with very little rust.
Have lots of parts laying around,so I might as well make something out of them.

 

what would it take to build a truck like this as far as chop and things like that to get the stance of this truck?
