  3. Jimmy , I like the way your thinking this through . Everything is new . Should not have any issues with anything . New wiring , E brake . Wipers . Fuel Injection , Front End . Thats the way to build these cars . Realible where ever you go . I might check out the wiring kits when its time for me . Even though you dont get as much time as youd like its all good . Stay at it man . Andy..

    Thanks Jim!

    Thanks Eric!

    You and me both. Thanks!

Guess you're right, hadn't thought about it that way. 24 year old power plant, almost qualifies for antique status on its own. Just trying to keep up with you Andy!

Nice build, Brer! I just finally got a chance to go through your thread. As the Virginia Slims commercial used to say, "You've come a long way Baby!". Keep up the good work.

With wiring it's best to go slow and make sure it's right (has always been my way)....Jim

Guess it fools you into thinking you must be near the end :D. Thanks Tony.

Agree, although I go slow out of fear of screwing something up!

    Appreciate it brother!

    Plodding along my friend.

You and me Randall . . . thanks.

Thanks Kathy . . . you got that right. Real hard to pry them away from electronic gadgetry. Actually, the partially deflated B-ball is the same height as the front seat :D

Thanks Larry. Why don't you get your '53 build on the HAMB? Look at Steve (koolkemp), he's putting his '47 Ford on an S-10 frame. Or take Andy ^^^ (aw1950) . . . a '50 Buick on a '78 Caprice frame & powertrain. C'mon man!

I do believe you are correct sir! Downhill at 6 hrs per week. :D:p

    Thanks! Welcome aboard.

  27. Very nice work! When I rewired my buddy's F1 with a fuel injected motor I was real nervous but I read and re-read the schematics and just took it one wire at a time and before I knew it the wiring was done! It was a huge accomplishment for me being the first vehicle I had ever rewired.

I like the placement of your fuse panel. Will definitely make the wiring more accessible. Although, I have to admit not having the panel perched behind the dash panel will deprive you of having to contort yourself to wire the car. You're missing all the fun!!!!!

  28. Awesome! This is what it's all about. I see a bright and golden future for us all! You guys are fantastic!

:) Thanks David. Will hide all this futuristic-looking shit with a carpeted panel.

Thanks Klaus! Funny how I feel like I'm finally getting caught up to the modern age of EFI (how it works), then I remember that this is 1988 technology here!
