My hood pops up about a half inch where it meets the cowl. I push it down....and it pops back up after I go for a ride. I was thinkin' about new hood hinges to fix it as mine are OEM

Thanks. I need to get it running again. It used to be my daily driver in the summer. But when I got married, had a daughter....you know life happened. Now it sits and I haven't driven it in 7 years. I really need get it running again. It's got a ton of power. The problem is it's not much of a family vehicle.

I love your truck and mostly your engine.
But who says a truck cant be a family friendly vehicle.
Im putting a couch in the back of my truck for the wife to ride on,for now my son can ride in the cab with me.
I will have no one to bitch about my driving and my son will fall asleep faster with the small fumes that will enter the cab.
I will install a bench seat in the back when the family grows.
Here is gramps happily ridig in the back of the DD on his way to his doctor's appointment.

Cool idea, but you ought to take the idea all the way! Install the grill and hood, too! put red bulbs/lenses in the headlights and hinge & latch the hood for a cool tonneau cover/trunk!

My dad did that to an s-10 when I was a kid he had two rear facing captains chairs under a topper bolted down with seat belts. And we would ride back there all the time. Also had a sliding rear window so we could talk to the cab if we needed anything

Didn't mean to hurt your eyes... All the years I been building hotrods,, I did find that it is hard to please everyone... The most important person I tryed to please with this truck,, Was My 18 year old son.. It's what he wanted.. And we are not finished with it yet.. Again Sorry it hurts your eyes..

i'm 5'6" but it still has lots of head room & i can sit with my leg straitened out. I've had a passenger ride with me, he is 5'20" tall. the binder cabs have a lot more than ford or chev.
