Event Coverage Les Winters Shop Run Brisbane Australia

Les put on a get together this morning at his shop in Sumner Park.
He is well known in hot rodding circles from the early days and also has a great drag racing history.

There was quite a line up of cars and a lot of old faces turned up from the early days.Some guys who have got back into hot rodding recently and some just there for a look.

And some more.The sedan delivery in Les shop is his old rot rod from the 60's/70's that is slowly being rebuilt.

 

Thanks for the photos Hudson48 Lil32 had a great morning there A BIG thanks to Les for the morning.Many rodders there were making final plans the hit the LA Roadster show in June.Aussie invasion look out.

 

Damn, wish I knew this was on...only 5 mins from work.

 

Man, some nice looking cars there! Had I known it was on I could have made it down, I'm north of Bris.

Perfect weather for a drive over, I only heard about it at the last minute and too hard to change plans.

 

Thats cool . Les is a legend , good to see he's having fun .

WOW, some quality rides over there. We can't get that many good looking cars at a 300 car show. Thanks for the pics!
