Well I took a new job a few weeks ago and now I'm driving 1000 miles or so a week around the state.
Happy I got this new job but I have a feeling that this is just the begining.
found around 50 cars so far this week and counting.
I made the mistake of stopping at this house and asking if I could look around. the next thing I knew I was the proud new owner of some old rust.

I'm pretty sure I know what they are but would you guys reasure me?
also would you take the time to drag them home? I;m sure thats a stupid question.

    well here they are.

Waaaayyyyyy Coooool finds ! It is both amazing and sad to see what gems are just sitting in fields and elsewhere hoping to be found by one of "us" . Keep up the grave robbing and spread the wealth :D

Been following all your stuff on Instagram. You run into these things fairly easy, eh?

As far as I can tell:

    1. Divco?
    2. 24 stud flathead. Not sure what years..
    3. Mid '30's Plymouth truck.
4 & 5. Not sure what year Chevy either. A quick Google search is telling me '29-'31.
    6. '41 Ford
    7. '39 or '40 Merc.
    8. That headlight is making me think early '40's of some make.
    9. '39 or '40 Ford.

The "milk truck" looks like a IHC Metro-Van to me.

I am about 90 miles west of you and the s****pers are gobbling any old iron they can get their hands on, some are buying it, and some are just getting it when nobody is looking. Their has been a crew in my area out of Utah, and they are talking about bringing in another crew. If you bought it and want it, I would get it hauled in or it might not be there next week.

    commish,
I know what you mean. I stopped by a s****per monday off of I40 Exit 88 to be exact and he had about 40 cars there that were pre 60 and asked him if he would sell. his reply was yes but if you think $100 over s**** is an offer id rather crush them in front of you.
maybe one of you guys would have beter luck and have the funds to buy them for 6-8 each. (guessing he might sell for that)
there were 6-8 tri five chevys as well
he wasnt very kind to me but maybe because Im young and was in my work truck heck I dont know.

Oh yeah, forgot to add.. Yeah, they're worth dragging home. I would do the same thing. There's always someone out there looking for something specific.

  19. x2 on that '41 Ford, you don't see many '41s, they were always my favorite year of the '41-'48 body style.

    It is now...LOL...!!!

No, it looks like a sedan body, or what's left of it...the cowl doesn't look quite correct for a roadster.

Hopefully you can get most of the good stuff. The 39-40 Merc and 41 Ford are sure keepers. It really is sad that s**** is paying so much that many non car guys are litterly stealing everything they can grab.
Get your buddys and get it home. Buy your wives some candy or a new dress.
