    These pictures were found on another forum, and I thought the HAMB would get a kick out of it. This '37/'38 Chevy was found in a lake ... in Austria, of all places.

  3. It didn't drive there, to many parts missing. Looks like it could have been a taxi. Some kind of roof rack on it. Is the lake man made? Maybe it was a field car, then the area was flooded to make the lake.
     
  4. That car can be saved. At least it is safe from the crusher and those darn scappers.

    Looks like one of those sun shield type things you see on Land Rovers in real hot climates. Somebody got the tasty bits and offed the carcass.

    Reminds me of that Navy diver movie. My ex got mad when I pointed out that the pickup he was diving on was wrong for that time period. Mid 30's Chevy pickup with a 50 Chevy pickup steering wheel. She didn't get the point. Part of the reason we're divorced.

    There was a huge sale out on a junkyard in Austria about 3 years ago, and it was full of american cars in much worse condition that this one, and i mean MUCH worst. Poor bomb thou.....
