does anybody have any color pictures of Squeege Jergers modified roadster from about 25 or so years ago? I think it was on the cover of Hotrod, or Streetrodder magazine. or is it on a thread somewhere ?
It was actually a track roadster, so that might be why your having trouble finding pictures. I don't have anything saved on this computer, but I'm pretty sure I have seen it on a track roadster thread here.
Another article... and be sure to order the *****in' t-shirt here... http://squeegskustoms.com/merchandise.html
Hey dude! I hate to pick nits, but that isn't Squeeges car! A guy did a clone of it in the early eighties from Ohio or some place like that. Notice the one you posted has a Ford 2600 V6 and Squeege's car has a Chevy 4... But like I said, nits, ya know?!
Hmmmm, I got this off Squeeg's site. Did he swap out the powerplant? I know at one point the windshield stanchions were anodized black too, double hmmm?!
Ya, if I remember correctly someone wanted to buy the car right after it was completed and Squeege wasn't quite ready to let it loose yet. If you look really closely the colors aren't quite the same, the interior is a bit different and the stance isn't quite the same either. Then there is the license plate mounting, and the dash too. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. 'Course, that was '79 or so too, so it has been a bit!
Yeah, I knew there's a clone. Kind of funny that I pulled that off of Doug's site. I'll ask him tomorrow about it. As far as the color being slightly different, that could just be one of a dozen printing variables... The roadster with the best stance though, is the one I drew!!
thanks guys for all the help, i'm putting wire wheels on my track t, and remembered Squeeges having them, also, I wanted to look at the rearend placement.Jeem, Very cool drawings!!!!!
