The Army Chief of Staff probably didn't have that many ground crew ***igned.

Maybe he was going to be taken for a joyride that day.

Miss Francis did a deviled egg (yuch!) and a fried egg in a hollowed out space in a piece of toast. Which one you mean?

I confess I quickly graduated to Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop because I had "urgings" for Shari.

Since these shows were regional our Ding Dong eggs were the fried eggs in the cut out center of a slice of bread (eggs and toast in 1 slab). A bunch of these kid shows had local talent even though the show was coast to coast. Romper Room,Ding Dong School,Bozo The Clown here all came out of Boston M***. We also had the "Ranger Station" with Ranger Andy and later Ranger Rick out of Hartford Ct. and I agree even at 5 or 6 I knew there was something "special" about Shari I just wasn't sure what that was!Now my grand kids are asking for Ding Dong eggs by name when their here!
