Wehrmacht staff cars in WW2. Picture from eBay. Could the first car be a 30/31 Model A with some "German style" convertible body?

Looks like the Buick used to be a sedan.

The motorcycle is interesting too. Girder front end, flathead, may be a single or even a parallel twin, kneepads on the tank.

Not Harley, not an Indian that I'm aware of, has some Triumph-like features but I don't think that's it either. The rider does not seem to be aging well.:D

It certainly is. I love those old gothic buildings with turrets.

This is the Idanha Hotel in Boise, ID, which was built around the turn of the 19th-20th century. Had a number of "firsts", like being the first building of 5 stories in Idaho, elevators, etc.. Had the privilege of staying there a number of times in turret rooms. As the premier hotel in Idaho at one time, numerous rooms were named for distinguished guests who'd stayed in them, including a couple of presidents, Clarance Darrow and others. Had furnishings to match, like giant claw-foot bathtubs and authentic era furniture and radiators. I loved staying there...had a terrific gourmet level restaurant and a piano bar with more heavy paneling than you can imagine. Sometime after the '90's, it was no longer up to code as a "hotel", so it underwent some remodeling and was converted to condo's.

Bessborough Hotel - Saskatoon SK (Had to put some cars in here somewhere). Also still in operation.

And speaking of turrets and gothic style,

Place Viger Hotel and Station - Montreal QC - Apparently still standing, but has been "repurposed" École des métiers du tourisme (a school of tourism).

I'm wondering about the name Randy Andy, kind of sounds like a name that should be on Megan's list.

Does anyone have a picture of Diana Dors' Delahaye roadster? It was a very stylish automobile.

Stop by The Old Motor and see a very interesting post about famous 1930s aviator Wiley Post. Here he is seen with his new 1932 Ford 3-window in Oklahoma. We also have a photo of his plane, the Winnie Mae (a Lockheed Vega) with which he set many records before he and his friend Will Rogers died in a plane crash in Alaska.
