Here is our '40 Deluxe Coupe. It has been a hot rod for a long time. It has a 400 Pontiac with '68 GTO heads, ram air 4 cam, 3:55 '57 Ford 9 inch, and a Muncie 4 speed.

  10. I'm a sucker for a '40 with discs on 'em!

Here's mine, prior to paint, baby moons, then the current Americans.

Mine, because I can't recall posting it before and too lazy to look. I just love neverdun's 40. Of course I've seen few that I didn't like for one reason or another.

Thanks, John....Just had The Dent Guy remove a small dent from the passenger side front fender. He does amazing work and I can't tell where it was.

This is my '40' Deluxe Coupe. It has been back on the street now about 5 months. Great cruiser with sbc and T56 six speed. I love driving this car. Comfortable, good performance, and good mileage. Still needs some minor tweaking and finish upholstery.

We saw the pickup in your reg spot one time but when we tried to find you couldn't, then you moved. Don't know why we never saw you down by the entry. Is Dales 40 usually at Ottawa Ks River Run?

Just looked back at your old posts and saw [and remembered] your posts re: painting it. Used to be an almost identicle, in color and wheels, 40 around here.

I bought my car locally about 8 years ago as a basket case. Is there a similar car in Oklahoma? Color is near a stock blue color - little bit more gray / black in mine.

Heading my way. Was listed as a 39 Deluxe but looks like a 40 standard nose to me. Back window is 39. Anyone familiar with this car?

  26. One way to hide the dirt, splattered bugs and rock chips is to take pictures in the dark. Here's one from last Thursday morning, of my '40 coupe.

here's mine. just bought it back after being gone since 1978. true barn/garage find. been in the same garage for over 34 years. built like you see it in 1976. no changes except for the missing 2-4's and the a/c. gonna be fun getting it back on the street.

  29. Good luck. I had a set of those wheels on my yellow 79 ford stepside in 1979.

Looks good with the hood on. That is my old '40. Not sure who owns it now.
I know the guy I sold it to crashed it once.

Here is an older pic of my old 4D at the HAMB Drags in 2006
