One of the best lines from her show was when she had Moon Zappa on playing "Ondrya" aka Valley Girl...

Elvira: "I'm a valley girl too, ya know."
Ondrya: "Yeah, Death Valley. Is that your real hair?"

OK I give up, What am I supposed to be looking at ?
Please enlighten us knuckle heads ...Is the engine a Flat Head Ford?
Or an Offenhauser Flathead ? ...I know I am not the only person who will appreciate a written description of what you guys seem to find so amusing - have some compassion on those of us who would like to know the details of this Camero. -Besides an Offy is one fine power plant to put in any vehicle !

    thank you

I dont THINK its a Jag... aren't they 90º engines? Could be the largest collection of DeLortos? (sp) in captivity at that time. I wonder how it ran???

  17. Ford flathead with aftermarket heads and intake.

The guy was racing in a class that only allowed flatheads, inline six and inline eight cylinder engines.

Now you know as much as anyone else about the reason WHY.

A 292 six would have been much less work and a good bit faster.

One of my favorite places in New Mexico. The owl cafe, if you're ever in Albuquerque you have to check it out.
